Covering an area of 130 hectares, located in the biggest city in south China Guangzhou, Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park is biggest animal theme park in Asia. Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park combines fauna breed and protection, science research, tour and science education together, aiming at “protecting wildlife, protecting natural resources”. Since it opened to the public in 1997, the park has already received over 10,000,000 tourists. In April 27th 2006, Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park successfully imported 6 lovely koalas from Australia, which is the first time for any organization in mainland China. This event symbolized that Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park has been recognized by the international world as a world class animal park.
