The East Shore is one hell of a jazz bar. The stylish interior of East Shore is hidden behind a non-descript exterior. Look for the tacky yellow sign, then negotiate the steep wooden stairs, and there is the jazz world. A velvet curtain backs the intimate stage, the smell of cigars runs thick in the air and the screaming trumpet player has his eyes closed in sweaty ecstasy. On top of all that, the stylish design includes four walls of floor to ceiling windows, providing a panorama of Qianhai, while the vast roof terrace offers even more of the same eye candy. There’ll be live bands from Thursday to Sunday.
