Yoyoor sponsors the 15th Annual Global Finance Conference in Hangzhou

After China's entry into the WTO, the Chinese economy has seen great results. The 15th Annual Global Finance Conference and the 5th China (Hangzhou) International Conference on WTO & Financial Engineering (GFC 2008) was] held in Hangzhou from May 18th to May 20th. Around 400 domestic and foreign experts, government officers and entrepreneurs attended the conference to discuss both global and Chinese economic, financial and trade issues, as well as to exchange the latest findings by attending scholars. The Global Finance Conference is one of the top financial conferences in the world, having been held 14 times in different countries across the globe, each year becoming a more influential and important event.

This year's conference theme focused on the development and risk management of the global capital market, and more specifically on the opportunity and challenge of Chinese enterprises. Academics, bankers, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists from all over the world were invited to discuss the theories, policies and practices of the global capital market and risk management, as well as to discuss the solutions to financing issues regarding international investment.

Joss Shen, the Founder and CEO of Yoyoor, Inc, also gave a presentation on May 18th titled, "Case Study of Global Innovation of Start-up Companies".
Joss Shen shared his entrepreneurial experience and his global view with the attendees in a forum focusing on multinational investment and global financial services.

Yoyoor was proud to be one of the sponsors of this conference. To help support victims of the May 12th earthquake in China, Yoyoor contributed all rental proceedings from the GFC 2008 China Conference to the Red Cross Society of China. The devastating earthquake toppled buildings, schools and chemical plants on May 12th in central China, killing more than 55,239 people and injuring 281,066, while 24,949 are still missing in the country's worst quake in three decades.
